Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When I'm travelling, couchsurfing is much, much more than a way to save money. If you really want to understand a new country, the way to do it is not to stay in a hotel and just visit the main tourist attractions.

Instead if you really want to understand a place, you've got to meet the people who live there. You've got to eat and drink with them. You've got to ask what they like about their city and what they don't like. Which are their favourite places to go out? What's their favourite music? What's their favourite food? Where do they work? What do they think of their countries' politicians? What do they think will happen to their country over the next few years?

When I'm hosting, Couchsurfing is a way to meet new people and hear interesting stories to distract me from the daily grind of the weekly work routine.

Intereses

I'm interested in whatever a CS host wants to show me about their home-town, or whatever a CS guest has to tell me about where they're from.
