Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently living in Halifax and plan to do so for some time while I work and save money to travel more. So, I am mostly looking to meet other travellers here in Nova Scotia and other fellow couch surfers in Halifax. I also tend to use Hangouts sometimes and would love to meet someone I can explore more of the province with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - My music taste tends to switch a lot every few months or so. Currently, I have been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan and I do appreciate Jazz, Daft Punk, J. Cole and many more! I have a single playlist on Spotify which has over 4,000 songs and I just shuffle it and listen to whatever comes on :)

Movies - I watch a lot of movies and I don't shy away from watching foreign language movies as I am okay with subtitles. Some of my favourite movies are La Haine, La Dolce Vita, O Brother Where Art Thou? , and Mulholland Drive.

Books - I also do read a lot and I recently bought a Kindle which has got me right back into reading. I love literature and recently read East of Eden and I think that is probably my favourite book of all time!! I have also dabbled with Dostevesky's books but I still think I am too young and inexperienced for the depth that his books bring.

I have lived in Halifax for a few years now and I can show you around the city. I know some of the most unique dive bars in the city and I have Carshare which I am willing to share to take trips around NS.
