ABOUT ME

I am a Senior at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. I love meeting new people and discovering new places and things to do. That's why I'm about to leave for New Zealand and Australia for 6 months. I've never traveled outside the country on my own before and I'm ready for the challenge!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I work with a commnity service agency that I've been a part of for 3 years called Community Experience. I love helping out, even in little ways. The movie Amelie inspired me to do little random acts of kindness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Looking forward to it with my roomie Cat! I leave the country at the end of June, so this is kind of our last little outing until I come back.

Interests

I love working with, and being surrounded by people. I love music and traveling. My boyfriend has taken me to music festivals recently- SXSW in Austin, Vegoose in Vegas and Coachella have been amazing! I love finding new music and meeting people with new bands for me to check out. I love movies too- there's this cool indie movie theatre in ABQ called the Guild I love to check out.

I love music- all kinds. I'm really into Electronic/ Dance music lately like Daft Punk, Justice, Chromeo and MSTRKRFT. I also love The Shins, Stars, Rilo Kiley, Feist, Clap your hands say yeah, Ben Kweller, Ben Folds, Lily Allen, Jem, The Format, The Honorary Title, Stars, STS9, !!!, Beirut, Joy Division, The Go! One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm about to go on an outdoorsy excursion in New Zealand- we'll go rock climbing, backpacking and all that! I've never done any of it before so I'm excited and scared at the same time... any advice?
