Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister got me into CS one Christmas a few years ago when we were on our way to Lyon, France. Because of the airport chaos in Copenhagen, we arrived 4 days later than expected and because of that we didn't have a place to stay. So my sister posted an emergency CS request and we ended up sleeping in a nice cosy apartment in Paris. I like how CS seems like a big family and how people across cultures can communicate and meet each other, just by sending one message.

I also used CS when my girlfriend and I moved to Toronto back in 2011 after we just arrived and were trying to find a place to live. There we also had the best CS experiences and met some great people.
