ABOUT ME

**The summer of 2011 is packet with travels and surfers :o) You can try to send us a request but the prospects are not good.**

Halli and Tobba met when they both began swing dancing back in 2009. After a while we started teaching Lindy Hop together and then started dating in late year 2009.

We both enjoy dancing Lindy Hop, cozy nights at home and traveling out and about. We travel a bit to go dance in various parts of europe. We've also hosted foreign Lindy hoppers coming to Iceland a few times and we really enjoy that as well.

Tobba has a lovely 4 year old daughter who spends every other week with us. We also have a cat in the house.

We live central-ish Reykjavík with about 30min walking or a short bus trip to get downtown.

Since we started hosting through couch surfing it has come to our attention the we are quite busy people. Tobba works shifts so she is often working in the evenings. We also dance as much as we can so that takes up a lot of time as well.

We do like meeting new people and spending time talking, but we do not arrange time to take surfers to go out and tour the city.

PHILOSOPHY

Ouch. I guess my (Halli) philosophy is that if something is worth doing, it's also worth giving it your absolute best. I'm a perfectionist and usually pretty all-in in what I'm currently doing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had a few hosting experiences, most good other not as good. We like that we get to meet a bunch of interesting people, and subsequent varied conversation.

Halli:
I read mostly sci-fi and textbooks on physical therapy and sports related stuff. Love Asimov and Niven, that type of stuff :) As for movies, I really loved The Matrix (original, not the crappy two sequels), and I'm a sucker for action and a laugh.

Halli: Having my first child (2months as of writing this) ranks pretty high on the amazing things done/seen list! I've been places and done stuff but nothing else truly Amazing! comes to mind I guess.

Teach: Training philosophy, physical therapy related stuff like posture, pain and efficient movements. Solving the Rubik's cube (takes a couple solid hours of learning!). Dancing Lindy Hop

Like to learn: All of the above, and stuff like cooking and what ever seems interesting.
