I am a Northwest native and Portland transplant, with travels on the horizon. It seems that the more I do, the more I find I want to learn. It's an infinite spiral! But one that I'm excited to be stuck on. Whether the experience comes in the form of learning a language, attending a formal training, eating new food, or learning a skill... it is best done with others!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be honest, I'd had only sketchy connotations with "couchsurfing" until I moved into a house that regularly hosts them earlier this year and experienced what an amazing concept it really is. I've had the pleasure of meeting people from around the world, sharing stories and recipes... and I'm excited to try out the guest side of it now too!
