i am Ukraine (there's no mistake, i didn't mean "a Ukrainian") or i'd better say: Ukraine is me. i am closely connected to my country and feel responsible for being a good citizen and representing Ukraine in the very best way possible when abroad or when communicating with foreigners. I am really worried about the events taking place in Ukraine now and am very thankful to all who support us in this difficult time.
i am also crazy about the Ukrainian language (it may seem strange to you, but Ukrainian is the language which needs to be saved in its own country, and not so many people speak nice Ukrainian). My mission is to promote Ukrainian. If the Ukrainian language coud be transmitted sexually, i'd become a prostitute :-P

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

i think there could be less misery in this world but for prejudice and stereotypes. the best way to get rid of them is to travel around, explore other countries, meet with locals, tell them about your country. CS is just a perfect way to step beyond one's own boundaries and meet new friends.

兴趣

i am a football fan. i love travelling. i cannot imagine my life without books. And sometimes i combine all my three passions: reading a book while travelling to another city/country in order to visit a football match :)
i also enjoy playing poker and board games.

i like helping people to make this world better. it's easy to help friends, but it's also important to help strangers and especially those who are in need but have no one to help them, that's why i like volunteering and help the homeless, the elderly in nursing homes, the qypsies in their wretched camps on landfills and foreigners of course :)

Music: Ukrainian (Okean Elzy - the best music band of all nations and all ages :-P), Beatles, Coldplay, RHCP, Moby etc.
Books: adventures, realistic fiction, preferably with historical context or allegories. Favourite authors: Dan Brown, George Orwell, Ray Bradbury, Max Kidruk (although you may not know the last one, he is a cool Ukrainian writer!)
Movies: I think it would be hard to make sth better than "Friends" ;)
