Overview
About Me
I'm currently taking a gap year from college. I attended Warren Wilson College Farm School in Asheville, NC for my freshman year where I studied Global Studies and minored in French. I currently work with an After School Program for 1st-6th graders in Dallas, Tx. I'm very outgoing. I'm the type of person to see someone, ask if I can sit with them, and end up having a long conversation about life. I'm constantly going some place and doing something new. I surprised my roommate because I was in the house making dinner on a Saturday night; she thought something was wrong with me. I'm told I am a good listener and the kids I work with call me "cool". :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hey, I'm on Couchsurfing because I am taking a trip to Los Angeles, California this month Nov 20-25th for vacation and want to experience the city in an authentic way and have the richest experience possible. I also plan on traveling more in the next couple of months and for the rest of my gap year.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very good with kids- I work with an after school program for 1st-6th graders- so if you have kids that need to be entertained I'm goofy and know lots of games.
For folks without kids I can make a mean Cajun Scrambled Eggs with Avocado Toast and Red Pepper Flakes. I also can offer some good conversation about astrology, adulting, or just whatever you want to talk about. Friends and strangers tell me that they feel very comfortable talking to me about anything, and I took some social work classes in college so I'm here for that too.
