ABOUT ME

I am pretty easy-going. I am quiet, but I love to meet people. I love traveling places and seeing new things, and the people you meet along your journey (in life, in traveling, in all things) make so much of a difference in the experiences you have. I try my best to live life to the fullest and be keep a smile on my face and others'. I love to read, attempt to write, love music, attempt to play, love art, attempt to paint, and love to garden, and have deemed myself an unintentional plant murderer. I like to get out and do the things that sometimes scare me, but I look back on and am so grateful I did them. I love good food, good wine, laughing, and getting sunburnt.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to get out there as much as I can. I love hiking and backpacking, climbing, sitting around a campfire with good music and burnt marshmallows or baked sweet potatoes, and just love making life vibrant, as it should be!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've actually hosted couch surfers before, however, it was under my room mates name. She had our house in her name. I've never stayed anywhere, but would like to soon. I've met great people who have stayed at our place, and had a great time doing so!

兴趣

I am a great fan of good books and a lovely cup of coffee to share it with. I love seeing the world and its people, cultures, and quirks. I am interested in people- I like making friends and learning of others' experiences. I am interested in cooking, though I have lots to learn, I love cooking for people. I love to find myself in places that take my breath away; if getting there didn't already! I love taking care of myself and my body with staying fit and great food. I try to live a life that is active and conducive to my philosophy- (see below)

I love all sorts of music, I think it all has it's time and place. On quiet nights, jazz makes me smile as I sip wine and cook chocolate cake. On hikes, Iron and Wine, Dispatch, Mumford and Suns, Radiohead, State Radio, Fleet Foxes, Decemberists, Bon Iver, Old Crow Medicine Show, and most things with a banjo keep me smiling. Jogging? I love DeadMau5, Pretty Lights, Bedouin Sound Clash, Jedi Mind Tricks, Massive Attack, and music with a good beat. Hell, even Lady Gaga makes me want to shake my ass! MUSIC is good. My heroes? Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Debussy.

Books. Don't get me started. I will read most and almost any. I have created a game- ask the employee of random selection at any bookstore I am at one of their personal favorites. Buy without question.
