A'Hoy,
My name is Han, I am 23 years old and i hale from the small sunny town of Brisbane, Australia. I grew up amongst the hustle and bustle of ShangHai, China and later moved further north to TianJin (just below the capital). My Mother and Father instilled in me early the love of travel and experiencing new cultures and I am grateful that I was able to see amazing aspects of the world at such a young age.
I am currently working as a manager in hospitality and am looking forward to learning new skills as I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an avid adventurer, hiker, sailor, explorer, artist and general wanderluster. My partner in crime (Alex) and myself are planning the trip of a lifetime beginning in September 2015 where we set off from Brisbane, Australia and travel the globe for 2 years (if we decide to come home). We will be stating in New Zealand then heading the the Pacific Islands for a sailing adventure. From there we will be heading to South America and climbing as many mountains as we can as well as working as WWOOFs (willing workers on organic farms). From there we will trek north into the wilderness of the national parks covering the USA. We will continue our journey into Canada and Alaska to see the Aurora Borealis. From there the journey is to be continued...

Interests

My interests include hiking and trekking, sailing, reading (lots) and listening to music. I enjoy meeting people of different cultures and will never say no to a game of cards and a glass of wine in the evenings. I love to cook and am happy to cook for the host families.
