CURRENT MISSION

I'm excited to be able to host surfers for the first time since I joined the community 6 years ago! I want to give back to a community who has been kind to be all over the world. For the past 6 years I've been hosting travellers and friends unofficially wherever I have called home around the world but it's time to offer my couch here :)
I'm also hoping to take some trips around Australia this year. I haven't travelled Australia a great deal as I'm always travelling Os instead. :Looking forward to discovering the beautiful places meeting new people many travellers I have met rave about.

ABOUT ME
I live in the vibrant an colourful community that is Brunswick. I work as a music teacher part-time and volunteer as a set building assistant for a local community theatre company. I sing in a contemporary choir, make candles and natural skin care goodies at home and have just started rock climbing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed around Europe when I travelled for 6 months in 2009.
I have hosted travellers and couchsurfed myself unofficially since then!

Interests

Nature when I leave the city, festivals of freedom, music appreciator and singing, bush walks, swimming at beach and pool, rock climbing if I'm pushed and lots lots more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: trying to learn piano and many different percussion instruments badly. Singing in an indie choir. My local bar hosts a world music night on a Sunday that I love to go and dance too. I'm trying to support local music too stumbling across small gigs and being wowed at the talent.

Books: My house had two book shelves filled with books that cover every genre. I'm enjoying reading through the one by one.

Film: we have a house projector so I've been watching almost anything recommended.
