À propos de moi

WHAT'S UP!

I'm new to Couchsurfing. Here to learn and give back about traveling and chasing dreams abroad.

I'm still changing and learning about myself, but most consistent are these nouns: Foodie. Artist. Aspiring fusion cook.

There is no weather in which I wouldn't be down to cook and feast with company. I'm also good game for romping outdoors and learning new wisdom: like, what's herbs are edible, or, how do you throw a frizzbee well?

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Traveling cheaply is a bit of luck and a lot of privilege.

When there's a way, it's thanks to the deep generosity and compassion of people, often strangers. I traveled solo for the first time as a freshman. I knew no one in Korea, spoke little Korean, and sat in a plane for 13 hours clutching my sketchbook. If not for the friendship offered by the lady sitting beside me, I wouldn't have survived the first stretch of travel. She turned out to be a killer architect and amazing friend.

I hope to return the same caliber of warmth, help, and guidance to Couchsurfers.

Centres d'intérêt

I used to trace Pokemon all the time, and those little drawings of wands and monsters from Harry Potter.

Now I illustrate picture books. Read graphic novels. Play piano. Hike. Write. Dance. Karaoke.

Teach: FOOD

I have an arsenal of recipes for delicious home-cooking: mostly Japanese cuisine, but also sprinkles of Mexican, Italian, Chinese, and Korean. I can teach you to cook, eat sushi properly with your hands, and possibly teach you how to play chords on the keyboard if you have one.

Learn: PLAY

I want to learn how to make the most of outdoors and outdoor entertainment fostered by imagination.
