ABOUT ME

I have lived in Pittsburgh for two and a half years and I love it! I am currently pursuing a MA in Food Studies at Chatham University! I love spending time with people and having a good time always! I enjoy art, writing, yoga, the outdoors, travel, dancing, vegetarian cooking, etc etc!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have spent a few months of my life living on friends' couches, floors, in their beds, etc. and am always willing to give back to my fellow surfer! I cannot currently host anyone, but will hopefully be able to in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

This list is ever-evolving, but I am currently reading a lot, a lot, a lot of books on FOOD JUSTICE! I also enjoy reading novels and books of short stories; some of my favorite authors include Barbara Kingsolver, David Sedaris, and Michael Chabon (PGH!).

I always enjoy watching goofy comedies (my favorite of which is Anchorman!) but I also enjoy documentaries, indie flicks, dramas, etc.

My favorite band of all time is The Beatles, but I have a pretty eclectic music selection - Common, MIA, Band of Horses, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Diplo, Major Lazer, Animal Collective, Panda Bear, Beach House, and pretty much anything Dancehall/Moombahton/Trappy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced is swimming in the ocean while watching the sunset in Negril, Jamaica.
