I believe the most important aspects of life center around: colour, real food, and music. Kindness and silliness are also extremely important.

Places I have lived include a horse barn, a yurt on a chicken farm, and a 3.5 ton box truck. I hold a bachelors degree in Feminist Studies with and emphasis in law, politics, and social change. I'm very open-minded; I dare you to shock me.

I believe in sharing wine and eating a meal with my surfers or hosts.

I have been traveling as often as i can since August 2016, when i left the states solo style the first time and fell in love everywhere else. The world is so beautiful.

Home base is a Santa Cruz, Ca or Edinburgh (depending on the weather)

I've met so many delightful people from Couchsurfing that helped nudge me out my door and keep me on the move. I'd rather build connections with locals than stay exclusively with other transient folk (though many of my hosts are travelers, and i love wandering people as well)

I also know well the feeling of landing in a new town without a place to sleep. Happy to host people who need some warmth, safety, and friendship on their journeys.

I've seen a massive elephant seal bull rear up in front of me and bellow a thunderous, melancholy, bass heavy lamentation to the setting sun during a king tide.

I've lived in a tiny village (population 30) in Las Alpujarras, in mountains of south Spain.
