ABOUT ME

I am an optimist, but not an idealist. There are few things I enjoy more than laughing. Learning is a close second. I grew up in one of the most multi-cultural cities in this hemisphere, and it has definitely shaped who I am and the languages I chose to learn and adopt as my own. When people ask me if I am an introvert or an extrovert, I never know what to respond.

This is my first time on Couchsurfing. I have been wanting to try it out for at least a couple of years, but I was always lucky enough to have friends everywhere I traveled, and never had a couch/room to share.

Intereses

I have a love affair with Brazil and its music. I am a student of and teach a type of Afro-Brazilian percussion called Maracatu. I love food, especially if I've never tried it. There is no better way to travel than by meeting up with friendly people in each location. I love learning new languages.

I discovered that I love the desert while in Egypt.
