About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Hana. Currently I am 25 years old student. As I had to face a lot of prejudice concerning my study programme that is social sciences oriented, I decided to prove most of the people saying that this programme is futureless wrong. That is how I started travelling and gathering experience and experiences.

FIrst of all, I fell in love with volunteering. Every year since I was 18 years old I participated in different projects in different countries (Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Spain, Itally) in Europe during summer holidays. Most of them were enviromentally oriented. Among the most interesting I can list is reparing an Iberian Citadel in Calafell (Spain) where we used ancient techniques to restore the castle and revitalisation of a swamp-forest area in Serbia called Obetska Bara.

When my university studies began, I wanted to connect my passion for travelling with traineeships and foreign study opportunities. For that reason, I took part in Erasmus mobility program and spend 6 months in Slovenia as a student. It was an amazing and self-enriching experience. What js more, I gained friends for a life there. Nevertheless, this was just a begining.

In my bachelor degree studies I became a trainee in the European Parliament for a czech MEP. This taught me a lot about the difference between studies and real practice and encouraged me to go further. According to me, the best way to learn what you want to do in your life is go and try it. That is why, my next destination was Paris where I worked as an intern for the Czech cultural center whose goal is to tighten the cultural ties between the Czech Republic and France. Paris is amazing city to say the least. My learning and searching for my true meaning of my life is not yet finished, though. What will be my next trip? You can advise me ;).

My life motto: I find myself going to places where I really have no business, speaking to these people in a whole other field that I have no extensive knowledge of. But I do it very often because it scares me. (Alan Alda)
