About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding my version of the whole kit and caboodle!

Interests

I love music. I can't sing to save a life, but in my own company and unfortunately for others sometimes, I like to believe I can. I like to dance subtley (or at least I believe it is subtle) when I listen to music, be it to the tunes in a club, the cd that's on in a cafe, or the headphones from my ipod - because I find it hard to stay still when there's a beat that your body feels like it wants to move to.
I like food.. the eating of, thinking of and making of. I like going to sleep.. when I was younger it was because I used to have really exciting and interesting dreams. Nowadays it's because I look forward to waking up and getting to eat breakfast. At the moment my current favourite brekkie is a toasty bagel with cream cheese.
I love travelling and meeting new people. I can't think that we can ever get enough of learning new things from people and places. I like listening to exciting stories.. and hopefully giving my own back in return.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the most physically taxing thing that I've ever done in my life is the Inca trail on the way to Machu Picchu. I remember regretting that I had so many muscles to have pain in. I remember taking five steps and stopping to take a one minute breather. I do believe I even crawled some of the way.

And then I remember the calls from behind and rolling myself to one side to let the peruvian porters run easily by up the mountain with our tents, food items, luggage and gas tanks. Completely effortlessly. Amazing! It's so incredible how we are all so different around the world, good and bad at all sorts of different things.
