ABOUT ME

hello!
I am a friendly person who like most people on this site love to travel and want to travel all around the world, but also like to meet new people. I am studying urban and regional planning so visiting different cities is also important my academic life. I'm hoping to reach new places and meet locals through couchsurfing and respectful of people and their homes. I lived many different cities in turkey so I think that I am a sociable from the first moment. I'm sailing and painting. I am a member of volunteering social help club and working in a project about children. I was a project manager which is 'living library'. now I am working 'istanbul foundation for culture and arts' and learning sign languages. as you can see I love to deal with someting in my spare time.
I wish to help other couchsurfers who plan to visit Istanbul.

Intereses

I painted many years, earned money from my pictures. then my lectures and my work took a lot of time. I started sailing 4 years ago, I really love it and still continue. I work with İstanbul Foundation For Culture And Art so I organize almost all art events in istanbul, thats amazing! walking, traveling, reading... shortly, I like trying new things only if that is for sure that I will survive in the end.

I like reading! dystopia and utopia books (brave new world grater than 1984), Herman Hesse, Camus, Kafka are my favorite autors. I also think that Orhan Pamuk is very talented author, I suggest My Name is Red and Snow. Yusuf Atılgan, İhsan Oktay Anar, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, Tezer Özlü, Oğuz Atay...
