About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live well, love long, and shine like the stars.

ABOUT ME

Excited about life, love to learn new things, love to meet new friends and I REFUSE to grow old! If you need my couch, you will be treated like family. Whether surfing or hosting, I am always open to using my massage skills for my host or guests, especially at the end of a long day. I must admit though...I prefer being in bed around 10 and up early. I love having the whole day open to me.

PHILOSOPHY

To walk in faith, to sing with joy, to comfort with compassion, and to love with abandon...in short, to be the cold water on a hot day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Before joining CS my couch was often in use between friends from church, college kids needing to crash, or hitchhikers picked up as darkness fell. Providing a safe place for someone to sleep is important and providing comfort and warmth during the time our lives intersect is vital.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few and always try to leave my host with a desire to see me again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading a good book, or even an ok book if the time is right. Read many a forgettable book while sitting on the beach. I listen to classical, country, rock, opera, spiritual, and other kinds of music. Not too much a fan of hip-hop or metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the birth of my children makes all other sights pale in comparison.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have many skills I am willing to share, some tangible and some not (being a good listener for example). One of the skills I love to share is massage. And cooking.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Ireland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
