ABOUT ME
Hello! ìë ! Gonnichiwa! Hej! Ni hao! My name is Hanee. That's right. Everyone just ignores the proper pronunciation and just calls me 'honey' but I kinda like it that way. After graduating university a year ago, I've been working to save some money for a trip...a trip to a place (or places) that I have not chosen yet. I tend to be a little shy when meeting new people, but obviously not when I am travelling. And once I get to know someone better, then I become quite talkative, sometimes silly, and enjoy throwing out jokes. I have been always and still dreaming about traveling around the world on land route for a few years but haven't put the dream into action yet. I would say I am in this early stage of gaining some experiences about traveling and I will make it come true in reality one day..hopefully pretty soon! Anyway, here are some random words that I think describe me (I cannot really come up with a bunch more at the moment though... so I will update this list whenever I can): animal-lover, truth-seeking, easy-going, lazy in nature, a sleeping beauty, last-minuter, caring, respectful, responsible, harmonious with any kind of people, loves to be childish, always laughing/smiling, music lover, etc...
PHILOSOPHY
Make the best use of myself in this world!
Take it easy!
5 more minutes sleeping...Zzz...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've heard a lot about CS from my friends. Actually one of my friends is an active CSer with lots of experiences in CSing (not hosting though). Seeing her meeting lots of new people and making friends with anyone she meets during her trips, I've always wanted to experience CS. Unfortunately, I don't have any CS experience so far but I am really looking forward to make the best out of CS and I am ready to dive into CS world!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1 - Street Cheering for games during 2002 World Cup, Seoul, South Korea. You just had to be there. The whole country was in a festival mood during the World Cup.Streets and City Hall, all full of people who came together to support one team. Cheering and celebrating together in a mass crowd, singing and dancing the whole night long!
2 - Woke up around noon on a day of winter in Sweden. I had missed the sun already and everything was so dark already. No surprise there was a firework event going on at 3:30pm.
2 - 2010 Valborg in Uppsala. Had never seen so many crowds packed in everywhere of the city, all legally drunken from 9am in the morning until whenever...
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't really have any special skills but perhaps I can show somebody that I can sleep for a whole day, if this is something that can be shared :p
Oh, I can also show you how to bark like dogs. Yeah, that's right. I mean 'barking', literally. When I was young, I used to bark whenever I saw some dogs passying by on streets and see them turning around thinking 'geez, this voice sounds super attractive! where is this lady?'
And maybe I can share how to cook some Korean food! Mmmm yummy!
