Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to see new places, but I have had enough of tourist attractions. I really want to get to know the culture by meeting locals. I love the idea of sharing. Not only the place to stay, but shared time, storys and thoughts. It is fascinating how similar all human beings are. Yet we all live in complete different realitys. I want to get to know your reality and create fun and unforgetable memories with people all around the world.

Interests

When visiting new cities I love to stroll around the alleys, admiring the architecture and enjoying the sound of the foreign language. Especially dialects and regional expressions fascinate me.

But for sure I feel the happiest, when I'm somewhere at the beach, even though I am a miserable swimmer. The smell of salty ocean water and the sound of waves is the most meditative and beautiful combination to me 🌊

I love some good photography, but since I am always torn between capturing the moment and being present. I often choose the latter.
