enjoy the summer 2013, visit Rome, Budapest, Vienna and maybe Berlin and improve languages I speak....and maybe also learn completely a completely new one, who knows!

ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old college student from Slovakia, currently living and studying in Bratislava the capital. I am very easy-going, polite and respectful and also a little crazy sometimes :-D
My greatest passion is travelling, I spent past 4 summers abroad working as an aupair with various families in Spain (Madrid, Galicia, Cantabria) and in England (Guildford)looking after kids and working hard on my language skills...
This summer I chose to stay in Slovakia for the first time in 4 years but I can't imagine myself just staying here all summer that's why I like to do a bit of travelling too....the first on my list is a trip to Rome planned for the end of June and I hope to enjoy it as I ve never been to Italy yet.
I like languages, I speak Slovak, Czech, English, Spanish and at the moment I am considering doing something about my poor German or learning a new language, maybe French, Italian or Swedish, still not sure which one...
I enjoy sightseeing when travelling and buying all kinds of souvenirs and things I don't need :-D
I love Spain and everything Spanish, the people, the culture, the language and the weather of course! already can't wait to go back to Spain in 2014 for my Erasmus stay!

none at all so far...but as I ve had a lot of great experience with the au-pair programme I decided to try something new and hope it will be at least as good as the time I spent travelling and working as an au-pair

like I already mentioned above, mostly travelling, learning languages, sightseeing...spending time with my family and friends, partying, going to concerts, arts & craft, ...
I can also be a kind of book worm, I love books and also tv series and movies...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of books, from Jane Austen novels to Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...currently I am reading a lot of Spanish and Hispano-American authors (Unamuno, Quiroga, Dario). I also like Anglo-American literature (Orwell, Poe, Hawthorne,...). I also like fantasy, I love The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Hobbit and also the Harry Potter books because these are the books that are responsible for my great interest in books...My favourite book ever is Catch 22.
As a college student I don't have much time to wacth movies, that's why I prefer tv series and tv shows, my favourites are The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Red Dwarf, Black Books and el Hormiguero..
from movies I always like to watch those based on the books I like, although they are usually a bit of dissappointment for me :-D The book is always better!
From music I like Slovak band Horkyze Slize and also Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Korn...I very ofen listen to music my father listens to because that was the music I grew up with, for example: Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Beatles,Fleetwood Mac, Carlos Santana and many many more.
