Hello, I’m Hanna 🌿
I’m Ukrainian/Portuguese - I’ve lived about half of my life in each country, and both cultures shaped who I am today.

Right now I’m on a journey to explore the world , find something meaningful and maybe discover the place where I’d like to spend the next few years.
Until the end of December 2025, I’ll be traveling around Asia - South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam are on my list. From January, I’ll be back in Portugal and happy to host in my place in Lisbon or on the magical island of Madeira.

I love sailing, hiking, long walks by the beach, talk about real estate, or anything that sparks curiosity. I enjoy sharing food, laughter, and even quiet moments - connection doesn’t always need words.

I try to live with curiosity and kindness, to listen as much as I speak, and to always leave a place (and people) a little better than I found them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe the heart of travel is people. For me, staying with locals or meeting through this community makes a place come alive in a way that hotels never could.

I don’t see Couchsurfing as just accommodation, but as a chance to share meals, stories, laughter, and even quiet moments with people from different backgrounds. Every encounter teaches me something new.

As a traveler, I hope to learn and connect. As a host (in Lisbon or Madeira), I want to give back the same hospitality that others have shown me. Grateful for the opportunity to connect, share, and create memories together.

I grew and raised a wonderful human being. She is 20 years old now, and I still can’t believe I won this challenge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m always happy to contribute and share something during my stay. I can cook a simple Portuguese or Ukrainian meal, help with practicing English (or Portuguese/Ukrainian), and I will definitely invite you for dinner.

I also enjoy listening — whether it’s about your culture, daily life, or passions. Sometimes the best exchange is just sharing a walk, a meal, or a quiet evening together. Above all, I will always respect your home and your rules.
