Overview
About Me
I'm a 23-year-old Estonian girl passionate about travelling and discovering the world. When I was younger, I travelled a lot with my family. Now I travel alone or with friends, and I love the freedom that comes with adulthood. Still, I am restrained to fewer opportunities because of the lack of money. My interest in travelling and connecting with people internationally grew after my exchange year in Switzerland during high school. This, in turn, inspired me to go to a university abroad. As a result, I now have a bachelor's degree in Psychology after studying in the United Kingdom. I have also participated in various Erasmus+ projects and am currently volunteering in one organisation which organises these projects.
I currently work in an organisation that focuses on policy-making in the mental health field. In my free time, I do sudokus, read books, experiment with plant-based cooking, watch films/series, and volunteer. I'm also very invested in everything psychology-related, especially the fields of mindfulness and self-compassion.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is simple - I love meeting new people! Their culture, their mindset, their view of the world, their local customs and so on. I have come to realise that you remember the trip because of the connections you made and the intriguing conversations you had (and not because of this one particular stone you saw somewhere :D).
Interests
I like sports, mind games, piano and probably everything new that gets me out of routine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recent finding in music is Parov Stelar.
Favourite film - always hard to pick the 'one favourite', but I really like Mr. Nobody.
One book I'm reading at the moment is Matthew Walker "Why we sleep?" - it's really good and intriguing!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
What I wrote here at Couchsurfing in 2019: All the amazing one day trips to see other towns in Switzerland. Eating the local food, diving into blue lake water, walking in the mountainous nature, every bit of it was unforgettable.
But now, in 2023, I'd say all the international experiences in general. They have been so eye-opening.
