Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I want to use Couchsurfing is because I feel like it is one of the best ways to have meaningful interactions with strangers while travelling. When I go somewhere I like to see different perspectives, learn about other cultures and traditions and meet new people.

I first learned about Couchsurfing from the "Couchsurfing in Russia/Iran/China/Saudi-Arabia"-books by Stephan Orth and really liked the concept. So I wanted to try it myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite books are the physician, normal people, a litte life and factfullness. I really enjoy most genres of music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

paragliding in the Austrian Alps, canoeing, snowboarding, walking the Camino de Santiago, meeting strangers that became friends, watching the sunrise on top of a mountain and of course couchsurfing ;)
