Couchsurfing is a beautiful tool for facilitation to meet locals. I love having raw, honest discussions and understanding a culture from the perspective of a local.

The thought of hotel rooms is empty for me.

Although I'm considered introverted, I enjoy a deep conversation or two. I enjoy having discussions about philosophy, distribution of wealth, food, public health, dance, science, art, botany.... you name it, I'm probably interested. Although, even as a New Zealander.... my Rubgy knowledge is severely lacking.

Really appreciate kind individuals who are willing to share their stories and wisdom with me! Or share a quiet meal and chat.

It's a fantastic way to meet people!

I hosted a French girl Aimee for one month, one French man Thomas, and a travelling Spanish couple Jose and Belen. I took them to gigs, odd parties, local dinner and cocktail bars and took them to the top coffee bars around Wellington. I ended up creating beautiful friendships in the process and travelling to Castlepoint and other beautiful places around NZ with some couchsurfers I hosted.

Absolutely love music and have been brought up dancing. I play the piano and am learning guitar (although, I can only play basic music still...), I love to read - Fitzgerald, Kafka, Dahl, Murakami, Keats.

I regularly bush walk, meditate, joke around, make delicious food. I loooove kraken rum, hanging out with close friends, live music, learning about different cultures and history.

Walked over 30km around Le Calanques in Marseille, then I went for a long swim in the sea and fell asleep on shore only to awaken to the sight of nude men. As it turns out, this was a nudist beach.
