**LOOKING FOR FELLOW ADVENTURERS FOR DIY-PROJECT WITH A PURPOSE IN KENYA**

We are creating access to solar energy and water for a village in Samburu, Kenya, with many DIY-tasks involved. The project time is from January to June and we are planning to do several field trips.

We are also building a community hub, which will be equipped with solar and a few essential devices. It will serve as a central space for social, educational and economic activities. We need some helping hands for the project, so if you are interested in joining for a bit and help out, while getting the experience of living in a very inspiring remote community with Samburus, hit me up, we can plan you in for our next field-trip :)

How come?

One of my biggest passions is renewable energy.
After having worked for 4 years as a consultant for renewable energy peojects in Germany, I will take my learnings to do my share in reducing energy poverty. I founded the non profit association greentech4impact and am now in Kenia from January to June to implement our first impact project in Samburu together with an incredible woman I met last year via couchsurfing (I was couchsurfing at her daughter and ended up traveling Kenia with her mum). We will take her expertise in charity work and mine in renewable energy and light up a village in the desert that we traveled this year.

Next to the project I'd be very happy to connect to locals, explore the country and its nightlife. :)

**ABOUT ME**

I love to explore countries in many different ways, from long-distance walking / hiking, to cycling, to hitch-hiking, backpacking, by boat, by van, by train... whatever life throws at me.

I get joy and excitement out of many things. I love to not take life too seriously and I think a good amount of humour makes life so much easier. Appreciating the little things in life as well :)
