Overview
About Me
(I'm the one of the far right)
I'm Hannah, I'm 19 years old, I'm a Politics and International Relations Student so of course I am constantly fascinated by the world and it's political frameworks in particular!
I was born and raised in Bristol in the South-West of England and one of my dreams is to one day work in/for the British Government or Embassy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think I have always looked for a site like Couchsurfing.com and never found one as I see the idea of staying with someone who can really recommend you fascinating places to go and see, rather than go sight-seeing is so much more appealing to me.
I say this after thinking myself quite a distinguished traveler already for my age that there is a really big difference between "sight-seeing" and "travelling". I'd hope to think I fall into the latter category!
Interests
I love running as a hobby and one day, I hope to travel and compete all of the 'Great Runs' and complete a few marathons like my grandparents who opened my passion for long-distance running. I'm a trained swimming pool lifeguard, part-time and was born with the unfortunate affliction of having two-left feet. Plus, I adore travelling, meeting new interesting people and going to festivals! What more could you want?!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything as long as it's not Heavy-Metal.
Favorite Books: I don't know about favorites but I do love distopian novels like 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell and The Hand-Maid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.
Other Books I'm currently reading and recommend: Outliers ( By Malcolm Gladwell), The White Tiger (By Aravind Adiga) and Flowers in the Attic (By Virginia Andrews)
Movies: I like most movies, however I am slightly squeamish when it comes to slasher or gory horror films (I like psychological horror though)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I raised £4000 by myself and I travelled for a month, did the Andes Mountains Trail and travelled through the Amazon Rainforest.
- I have climbed a cliff-face (with harness gear so I didn't die) blindfolded
Teach, Learn, Share
I am really into intellectual discussions into topics covered in philosophy, politics, psychology and the biological sciences as well as always up for a good laugh!
In the words of the musical mystro for a generation that was, Hannah Montana 'YOU GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS (with me)!' (I warned you about my cheesy sense of wit. You have been pre-warned.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my impeccable range of excessively bad puns and quintessentially dry British humor.
My variety of "pub-quiz" - style of pointlessly interesting facts on History, Politics and Culture.
My share of slightly-mad travelling anecdotes over a good' ole glass of wine (or a line of tequila shots, whatever takes the host particular preference!)
