I never know how to start these "about me" sections. I'm a college student that wants to see the world! I'm from Kansas City, Missouri in the US. My passions include cooking, painting, soccer, reading and writing! I love pen pals and sending mix cds. I am a sophomore in college studying political science for pre-law! I want to do disability rights and nonprofit law.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and now I am expanding outside of the US! I will be in Europe this summer for a month and want to meet new people and experience the world through different cultures. I cannot wait to meet hosts and make connections in different areas of the world. I am a committed pen pal too and would love to add new pals from other countries!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly have favorite songs rather than artists, some of my favorite songs (right now) include: Budapest by George Ezra, Talia by King Princess, Rivers and Roads by The Head and the Heart, Lost in Japan by Shawn Mendez, and Gives You Hell by The All-American Rejects. My all time favorite movies are: The Princess Bride, Inception, the Lord of the Rings movies, and all the Star Wars movies. My favorite books are: the Eragon books by Christopher Paolini, the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins, Divergent books by Veronica Roth, and The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is volunteered at Camp Barnabas, a camp for people with special needs. I have been attending Barnabas for the last seven years and have spent over 25 weeks volunteering! I am in the process of starting a fundraising foundation for the camp right now!
