Hi! My name is Hannah, I'm 24 years old and live in Bree, a small medieval town in the East of Belgium. During the acadamic year, you can find me studying in one of the many old university libraries of Leuven or wandering in the streets of Leuvens old and charming city center.

My hobbies are singing in the shower, making long hikes in the mountains, cooking with friends, eating chocolate desserts, teasing my pets, listening to my neighbours piano play and meeting inspiring people.
I'm the eldest of three girls. We go on family holiday with our parents twice every year. Family is really important to me and we're all very close.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

There are three really important reasons.
First, I love to meet people all over the world, especially people from another country/culture, because their lives are very often completely different from mine. It's kind of an escape of the daily routine to be in touch with foreigners.
Second, local people always know best! A travel guide isn't always up to date and it's difficult to find information about non-touristic places on the internet.
Third, I like to travel and I do it as much as possible. Unfortunatly, my budget is always tight, since I'm a student and can only work in the summer. Couchsurfing is an inexpensive solution to that problem.

I like al sorts of music: classics, hiphop, etc. As long as music inspires! Whenever I can, I devour books. My most favourite genre? Historical novels!

Spotting wales from 30yards distance in a kayak in Canada. I was so frightened at the time, but afterwards, I realized that it was absolutely beautiful!
