I am a dutch girl that loves adventures. Always up to do something active, go into the wild, and who loves spontaneous travelling plans. Currently, I am studying at Leiden University College, where I live on the school camps. Before, I have been studying at University College Maastricht and at College of the Atlantic (US), where I've always shared rooms. I'm very used to live to together with people from all around the world. I'm easy to adapt, plus I don't mind to change my plans at any given time since this keeps the excitement alive. One of the things I love the most is the sea, especially by night when you're floating on the waves with the stars right above you. I explore this love for the world further through travelling all the countries that appear in my dreams.

Living in an international community for quit some time now, gave me the opportunity to learn sooo much about the world, yet I'd like to share stories and experiences with many more people all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is Kafka on the shore by Murakami because it is just amazing.
Some of my favourite artists are Dominic Fike, Anderson Paak, Jorja Smith & Cigarettes after Sex... The music when I am in a chill mood is from the album Soon it will be cold enough to Build Fires from Emancipator. Live Jazz also always gives me good vibes.
I'd say that Into the Wild, Memoirs of a Geisha and Inception are definitely part of my favourite kind of movies..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sailed around the world between Europe and the Caribbean, which was the dream of my life. Sailing over the Atlantic Ocean, looking up and see the stars at night, is one of the things forever engraved in my memory. Staying with the indigenous people in Panama, travelling around in Cuba, and staying at an inhabited Island of San Blas, shifted my whole perspective on the world.

I'd like to share all sorts of random conversations, since this is the best way to be involved in something is to talk with strangers. Besides, it would be fun to cook meals together and share our skills.
