I've been living in Vancouver for just over two years and am making my way to the East coast to fly back to London. Originally from a small village in Yorkshire (home of puddings) I moved to London for University and lived in New Zealand for 5 months before moving to the couv.

Recently back in Vancouver after visiting Northern BC which was beautiful. Most of my time was spent 'wwoof'ing on an organic farm in the Kispiox Valley and I'm inspired and keen to learn more about growing food.

I'm flying to the UK from Halifax and my hope is to have an introduction to the hugely varied landscapes within Canada. I'd love to meet people living in areas I haven't visited.
I'm keen to get a more diverse view of Canada, having spent most of my time in and around Vancouver.

I love food but am not brilliant in the kitchen, it's a skill I hope to improve. I'm currently wwoofing in Northern BC and am really interested in learning to grow food.

I'm currently reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimerer and it's a beautiful weaving together of indigenous knowledge and science with mention of current agricultural systems and our relationship to the land. I hiiighly recommend it.

I'm not a music buff but I'm happy with most genres...I'm a sucker for a pop song, & enjoy new wave, electropop, r&b, soul, modern folk.
