Hi! I am a young professional who loves jet setting, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I currently work for a university as an academic advisor. I will be finishing my masters in higher education this coming December. After getting my masters, I plan to spend some time traveling and potentially join the Peace Corps or work for a third party study abroad program. If I continue working in higher education, I want to educate students about the world abroad and open their minds to different cultures and people.

I haven’t hosted anyone in my home yet as I am often not home when travelers want to stay and I also have a few roommates who I have to work around their schedules as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it’s a bucket list thing of mine. And I want to help others be able to travel affordably while also meeting new people. I absolutely love meeting new people and finding friends across the world who are passionate about people and traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a goal to see the seven New World Wonders before 30. I finished my goal December 2018. I’m a little ahead of schedule haha. I have also begun working on the seven Natural World Wonders and plan to now see 30 countries and 30 states before 30. I will be at 33 states by March 16 and 25 countries by August.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: budget traveling, and whatever else I might know. Learn: about different cultures. Share: any knowledge I might have that others find valuable.
