Hi! I'm currently living in Germany as an Aupair for my gap year, with the intention of improving my German and exploring Europe further. My language level is about B2 for German, and I love meeting new people and exploring new places before uni ties me down for a while. There I will then study biomedicine, with a focus on neuroscience.

I love meeting new people, learning about other cultures and sharing exciting experiences with others. While I'm abroad, I really want to make the most of my time here by filling it with as many people and interesting experiences as possible!
Coming overseas, I wanted to take pretty photos of pretty places, and take them home as my souvenirs. However, after putting myself out there alone - couchsurfing, going to random Stammtisch events, meeting Tandem Partners weekly and embarking on excessively long bus trips - I met people who I only spent a few hours or a day with and will possibly never meet again, but they all impacted me in different ways. They changed my idea of what it means to spend your time travelling in a meaningful way. These people became more valuable to me than any photos I've taken, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
