Interests

My passion is dancing and I always look for the best places to dance wherever I am, be it samba and forro in Brazil or tango in Buenos Aires. My dance of choice, however, is salsa, so Colombia has been a dream for me.

Horses are my great friends.

Books, especially Modern and postcolonial. I'm a slow reader, though, so I don't like to get people's hopes up about how widely-read I am...my degree was a challenge.

Theatre, politics, philosophy...I love to chat about most things and learn from talking to people from different cultures with different experiences and points of view.

It's hard to choose just one, but spending my days with the cutest kids ever in the outskirts of Bangalore is a good place to start.
Beyond that I look forward to sharing stories face to face.

I'm an English teacher and more than happy to share my skills in that area if desired. I could also teach you a step or two of salsa (yes, English girls can dance too!)
I love learning in general, so whatever you want to share with me will be received with gratitude!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I'm a friendly and sociable person who's easy to get along with and pretty laid back. I love meeting new people and having a good chat. Of course, if you'd rather be left alone that's fine too.
I love cooking, so I'm happy to prepare a good meal - if you like a curry you're in for a treat, if not, no problem, I have other recipes in my repertoir. Open to suggestions for other ways I can help out!
