Bok ljudi!

I am Hannah - originally from Germany, but I moved away once I turned 18, spending 4 years traveling the world - which was a life changing experience for me and helped me grow as a person.
Ever since I can remember my heart belongs to animals and animal welfare which is one reason why I choose the vegan diet early in my life. In 2021 I moved to Croatia to follow my dream of becoming a vet. Since then I have been studying veterinary medicine at the Faculty here in Zagreb.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started using CS back in 2018 once I moved to Canada and fell in love with the community after my first surfing experience. Shout out to Dean! Ever since then I surfed a lot during my travels through Asia back to Europe.
Couchsurfing made it possible to meet like-minded people, who share a similar way of life. All CS experiences - surfing and meet ups - influenced my travels in a unique and memorable way and it definitely brought one or two more friends into my life.
Being able to use CS as a traveler has showed me the beauty of this community and once I moved to Zagreb, I was really excited to finally host and give back all the hospitality and love I received.

兴趣

Besides card games and traveling I really enjoy sports. I used to row, do acrobatics and dance, but since I moved to Zagreb I fell in love with climbing. I am going bouldering a few times a week and I try to go outdoor climbing as much as possible.🧗🏻‍♀️💪🏼
If I am not on a weekend climbing-camping trip and if time allows me, you will probably find me hiking somewhere in the mountains with my doggo Aleco or friends. Recently I also got really passionate about slacklining and highlining! 😍
I also really like to cook and try out or learn new recipes from different cultures.

I love almost every kind of genre. Just electronic music is not my cup of tea (yet 😅).
My all time favorite song is the masterpiece: Taro from alt-j.
And I am in love with Hoziers songwriting - this man is a pure genius!
Also - shout out to AnnenMayKantereit!

My two favorite movies are Pride and Prejudice and Spirit - the wild mustang.

To be honest, I am not a book worm at all. Even tho I would really like to find more time to read, it just seems not to be one of my priority at all. But I gotta go with the Harry Potter books as favorites.

I can teach you how to make and bake super yummy sourdough bread! If you are interested let me know in advance so I can prepare the sourdough/take it with me.
I also know how to make basic natural soaps.👩🏻‍🔬
I have a healthy obsession: carrots 🥕 There are always some in my fridge and when I go out they’re in my bag - and I love to share them as well.
