I love to dabble in a lot of sports but I primarily climb, trail run, and whitewater kayak. I'm currently in graduate school working on a PhD in Environmental Health. I live in Chicago in the neighborhood of Humboldt Park, we have amazing food here! I am an animal lover, I have a 10 year old Saint Bernard and a 5 year old cat, they are both super friendly and super weird.

A friend recommended it to me years ago but I wasn't in a position to host and also wasn't traveling much because of school. I've been wanting to join couchsurfing for a while and am finally getting around to my friends recommendation.
