My name is Hannah and I've recently just gotten into traveling and exploring. I've lived my life in four different countries and that has probably moulded me to become so enamored with different cultures and places.

I love to travel and I wish I could do it more often. Currently, my goal is to travel the Philippines as much as possible since we have like 7107 islands here! Crazy stuff. I believe there is nothing like knowing your mother land like the back of your hand. :) If you need me to recommend places to visit in the Philippines, I'll excitedly whip out a map for you. Hahaha!

I am a little shy at first but it's only because I love to listen to people talk and tell stories. I love sharing insights and stories and getting to know people because then you find all these amazing people in the world and it reminds you just how much good there really is.

I'm fun and pretty much down to do anything. Drink till we drop? I'm with you! Jump off waterfalls? Count me in! Want to find the best cheap eat? I know the place! Life is an adventure and you have to do as much as you can, no fears, no limits. You have to live.

Other than that. I'm just pretty chill but if you're the right person, I whip out the really crazy side of me. I'm a writer/copywriter and I have always loved writing so life works out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here bcos I've never couch-surfed and I really want to. Also. I find it pretty cool when people come together to host strangers bcos they share a common goal. I think that's a great thing. Meeting people from all over the world is also a great way to open your mind and just appreciate different people for who they are regardless of race, nationality, gender, belief, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've got a mixed taste in music. I can listen to Foo Fighters one moment then shift to Lana Del Rey next. Kodaline is at the top though! Love them. Ellie Goulding, The xx, Banks, Kendrick Lamar, Temper Trap are all pretty awesome.

Fave books? Oh, come on. You can't ask a writer that! There's a lot of great books with good plots!

Movies? I pretty much like anything with a good plot, great acting, and great visuals. Kill Bill has always been at the top. Love that film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 6 days in a small and quiet town 15 hours away from home just to learn surfing. I'm talking the unplugged life, enjoying good food and good company, just surfing from morning till sunset. I will never forget that feeling of trying to get one last wave as the sun sets behind you.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you my dialect, bisaya. It's a pretty cool dialect. I can share stories, experiences as well. I can impart knowledge in the best places to go here that aren't super tourist-y. Best of all, I can guarantee you an awesome friendship! Oh. And a drink. Or two. Or three. A bottle. Did you know drinking is cheap here? Woot woot!
