I'm a Canadian but in the recent years I have lived in South Korea where I taught English, up until recently lived in Scotland where I just finished studying Masters in Public Health. Just 2 months ago moved to Cyprus where I am studying in a graduate medicine program in a British University (St.George's University of London). Since living in Scotland, I have been taking all the opportunities to visit places around Europe to explore and go on new adventures. I mostly travelled to places where I have friends from the country where authentic local experiences can be shared. I am ecstatic to continue expanding my horizons by joining a larger network of couch surfing community.

I have yet to couch surf but I have heard many great stories and experiences from friends who have used it and am really looking forward to stories I will get to share. I love meeting locals wherever I travel and connecting and learning from each other. I'm interested in a lot of things and can find something in common with most people. I love cooking and sharing food with hosts/surfers/friends (pescatarian), I love rock climbing, hiking and being outdoors, and talking about ideas.

I believe I have a pretty inquiring mind and I'm always up for learning new things from new people. But I think it goes without saying that to be a couchsurfer is to be open minded, tolerant and interested.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am looking to meet awesome humans through couchsurfing and think it is a brilliant concept. I want to be involved as a surfer (and hopefully host) long into the future. Its just so much better than staying in hostels and hotels! I'm a very community minded person and really value sharing and generosity in others and hope that I am like this myself. Unfortunately I am not in the position to host due to share house living arrangements but I am keen to start when I get my own place starting next year June.

I'm pretty open to most types of music - I love alternative R&B, hip-hop/rap, jazz, funk, afrobeats, different techno music like tech house, industrial techno, classical music as well! I love any live music and dancing.

I love watching films and would be hard to list all of my favourites. Good Will Hunting, Interstellar, the Bourne Series are a few of them I enjoy!

Some of my favourite books I read recently are the Educated, When Breath Becomes Air, Flow!

I love cooking and eating. Sharing food with my hosts is one of my favourite things to do which couchsurfing. I also love learning about the cuisine of the places I am visiting.

I am also, always down to go rock climbing if there are awesome gyms or rocks! I can offer my belaying skills and positive encouragement!
