About Me
Originally from the US. Been an outdoor guide since 2015 and trying to chase summers between the northern and southern hemisphere to maximize sunshine 🤠
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of the best experiences I've ever had while traveling have been when I was with the locals. I love meeting new people, especially fellow travelers and bounce ideas off one another.
Interests
I prefer mountains to beaches but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a coastline :) I love full moons, road biking, acroyoga, succulents, natural oils, organic food, drinking tea, traveling, kirtan, climbing, autumn leaves. Not much more I love in life than these things and being surrounded by good quality human beings. Tattoos, vegan. any and everything outside-just being in nature, Seinfeld.
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't understand how some people just aren't into music. For me, always love oldies-hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s. Pop music. Indie chill. Rap. Deep house. Can get down and have a wiggle to pretty much any type of music.
Favorite movies are documentaries and Tarantino movies. Also a fan of 90s rom coms. Some of my all time favorites are Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Requiem for a Dream, Blue Valentine , Parasite, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, When Harry Met Sally just to name a few.
Nonfiction books are the best. Especially inspiring ones about adventure and travel! Some of my top favs: Tales of a Female Nomad, The Power of Habits, Eat Pray Love, Almost Somewhere, Choke, Tuesday's with Morrie, A Piece of Cake, Permanent Vacation, American Gigolo, Fat Chance: The Bitter Truth About Sugar, When Breath Becomes Air, John Muir and the Ice that Started the Fire
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Managed to only work 2 months in the entire year of 2017 while traveling/exploring the rest of the year, backpacked over 300 miles of the Appalachian Trail. hitching hiking through Japan for 2mos. Life is too good to just pick ONE amazing thing
Teach, Learn, Share
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore!
What I Can Share with Hosts
