Overview
About Me
I'm a 22 year old with hopes to travel as much as possible before deciding what I want to be when I grow up. I'm currently in graduate school, doing the studious thing, until I apply to professional school or change my mind. I grew up on the east coast and need sunshine to function. When I'm not at work or school, I try to hike, do yoga, and play board games as much as possible. Colorado has made me a craft beer fanatic. My biggest splurge is on coffee because I believe it improves my quality of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My graduate student stipend does not pay nearly enough for me to learn about the world, formally or otherwise. I'm a scientist, an animal lover, and an advocate for improved mammalian husbandry. For the next couple years, I'm working towards a master's degree that requires much travel to museums and zoos to explore captive conditions and zoological collections. I love meeting new people and exploring new places, so by Couchsurfing I hope to pursue my education without missing out on those things and, of course, to save some money.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a lot of interesting stories and I'm an excellent drinking/exercise/board-game partner. I love connecting people and sharing what I've learned with others. I can bake! I am comfortable in plenty of social situations, but am happy to keep to myself and be productive.
