3. now I am an English teacher in private institute

*If I express my life as one word, it could be "exam- life"(I made this word by myself, so you won't know it..sorry^^). I became a single mom in mid 20s. The atmosphere about single mothers in Korea wasn't warm, actually cold. Even though I had a stable job, but I had to quit it. But taking exams was chances to get a job and find my way. That was sort of an equal opportunity.

* When I was 30s, I was quite tired and busy. I could not think my life would be relaxed. But I realized the feeling of freedom is in my heart. I changed my mindset. I started meeting new people in late 30s ( I liked being alone before). My attitude towards life became positive. So I am happy now.

PHILOSOPHY

1. Eat well. Sleep well.
2. As a christian, my focus on life is to understand and follow God' will. Whenever I meet some troubles,I try to understand His way and remember His words, bible scriptures. Some people might not understand me. However,I strongly believe in God and heaven. That's my thought.

This site??An English teacher told me this one. That's because I said I needed to meet native English speakers.
And I am really wondering how different other people's lives are. That's why I joined here.

Actually I have no idea now. But I hope to have many good stories in the future.

Interests

I teach English to teens. Practicing English is my most interest as an English teacher. I'd like to meet and experience native English speakers. Even though I teach the language and studied in Sydney, but I haven't met many native English speakers. I just learn English in the classroom setting like my students as well. I want to be an experienced teacher.

Bible-my favorite book

I loved the film, Sound of Music. I watched it perhaps 50 times. I don 't know why exactally. I like K-pop because of my teenager students. One of my favorites is B.A.P. Anyhow I am an expertise about K-pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I memorized 22,000 English words in high school. But after entrance exam for colleges,I suddenly forgot almost. Actually, that's amazing.

2. In 2004 I experienced something spiritial(?) while praying to God. It was beyond my description.

3. I wrote a novel in 2001. The leading character was a woman like me. She met a man from Europe in Sydney. Anyway the plot was a romantic story. 6 years later, I experienced almost the same situations with my novel. I met a swiss guy in Sydney. The novel was like my future diary.

The typical Korean folk music is Arirang. Actually there are different Arirangs in different provinces. In other words we have different styles of Arirang. I can sing for you.
