I am a primary school teacher and I absolutely love my job. I hope to teach English as I travel, it is such a rewarding feeling and I'd love to pass on something to the children of places I visit. I am eager to emerse myself in another culture, learn what I can and practice my Spanish with anyone willing. I have just spent 9 months backpacking around South and Central America, which was incredible beyond words! I am easy going and have a keen sense of adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first heard about courch surfing when I first started my trip through Europe in 2013. I went to Sziget festival where I met some friends who were camping with a group of about 40 couch surfers. I ended up couch surfing a few times in Europe and have been fortunate enough to stay with many of the people I met at the festival in various places throughout my trip.

I love getting outdoors and am always up for an adventure. I also love cooking, especially baking :) I love art and I dabble in a style called zentangle.

I love most music and am always happy to hear new stuff, one of my favorite things about going to music festivals is discovering new artists.

I mostly read when I travel and love reading books recommended by others. I recently read 'A Thousand Splendid Suns', it was heartbreaking but a beautiful book.
