I want to discover the world! =) I like to travel to countries I don't know and I like to know new people and their culture. :D That's not really crazy or exceptional, but that's my "mission" these days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already had great couchsurfing experiences and just love the concept of couchsurfing! :)

Interests

I love watching movies in open air cinemas and I like poetry slams.
I like music (who doesn't?!) I play the bass. I even played in a band called "Ain't Got Three" (www.myspce.com/aintgot3), but that's a while ago...
I like sitting next to any kind of water like the Spree in Berlin and hanging out there with my friends. And swimming in the water it's nice too. ;)
I'm interested in politics even when they suck. I think it's important to know what's going on in your country at least.
Yeah, I lived in France and Mexico each for 6 months. I love to get to know other cultures and languages!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a friend who is 87 yeras old now. She is the mother of a friend of my dad.
Anyway, I spent my holidays in Spain with her 5 years ago and we went to the beach. My dad and I like diving so we brought our diver eyeglasses with us. The, back then, 82 years old lady never has dived before and watched us with interest and curiosity.
I talked to her if she liked to give it a shot, but she was really afraid.
Some hours later after watching us diving a while, I talked to her again and she slowly tried it just for some seconds under the water and then she couldn't stop!
It was so much fun watching her and enjoying it.
It's cheerful to see that you can always try and learn something no matter what.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share my knowledge about Berlin. I mean, I am a truly "Berliner" who was born in Berlin.
On the other hand, I would like to get some Insider-knowledge about the city I will stay in.
I can teach you how to knit. :D (a skarf for example)
I always can teach you some German if desired.=)
