Hi, I’m Hannah. I’m originally from Maine, lived in 3 other states, and I’ve driven across the U.S.! Lately I have spent the past 15 years living in Denmark. This summer I’m spending some time in the U.S. again, visiting friends, working and doing some traveling.

I’m friendly, open-minded, and social, but also very respectful of people’s space and routines. I’m a non-smoker, tidy, and easygoing as a guest and happy to share a meal, conversation, tea, a walk, or a board game, but also completely fine doing my own thing.

I’m vegetarian, love animals, design, sustainability, music, and a good sense of humor. I enjoy getting to know places through local people rather than tourist spots and architecture, and I really value the cultural exchange side of CS.

I’ve used CS before while traveling in Paris and had really positive experiences! I’m respectful, easygoing, and value the exchange, and I’d love to continue that here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy talking with people in a genuine, down-to-earth way- especially one-on-one conversations where you can actually get to know someone. I’m curious about what makes people tick and how others see the world.

I love meeting locals and people I wouldn’t normally meet at home. I find it really heart warming how different our everyday lives can be, and at the same time how similar we all are.
