COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Portugal in 2013 with a friend who had a couchsurfing account, so we met some couchsurfers there!

About cinema... I would say Scorsese's first movies (especially 'Mean Streets'), Cassavetes, Wong Kar Wai, Polanski, James Gray... 'Medianeras' by Gustavo Taretto, 'XXY' by Lucia Puenzo, 'L'image manquante' by Rithy Panh, 'Down by Law' by Jim Jarmusch...

As for music, I love rock n roll classics (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd...) or 60s alternative (Love, Quicksilver Messenger...) ; be bop jazz, for more recent stuff I would say Nicolas Jaar & his project 'Darkside' with D.Harrington, Cat Power, Matt Ward...

Literature now: I had a crush on Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg's 'Howl' ; M. Yourcenar, JL Borges, J.Fante, Cortazar, M. Duras, Patti Smith's 'Just Kids'...
