ABOUT ME

I am currently working and attending school in Terrace BC. I have been living in the northwest for almost 2 years and have just entered the field of early education as I work on my ECE diploma through the local college.

I am avid adventurer and although I am from the east I have fallen in love with the western landscape and the communities that speckle the rivulets and valleys of these humbling hills. Before settling into school I have spent some time searching for an ethical way of being in the world. I visited many self sufficient homesteads throughout the west, and want to continue cultivating skills and investing in self sufficiency.

Nowadays I spend most of my time with 3-5 year olds and I'm very passionate about being outdoors and our relationship to the natural world. I am inspired to nourish this natural disposition in children through a holistic early education.

Other than my inclinations for plants and children I do keep company with a fluffy feline whose wild loyalty keeps me cozy through the darkness of northern winters. We live in a tiny house just north of town and whenever I get a couch I'll start hosting.
