我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've dedicated this year to traveling, and couchsurfing is such a great way to meet new people in every city I have the pleasure of visiting!

I am headed to Iceland, Scotland, and Norway in June, on a photography roadtrip, so if any of of you are traveling during this time and want to hang out/collaborate on a shoot, I'd love to connect!

This is not necessarily meant to be a vacation (although I know I will be thoroughly enjoying the journey), so I'm trying to save as much money as I can. I plan on car camping, couchsurfing, and staying in hostels along the way. I will typically be ready for bed soon after the sun sets and up and ready to find a great spot before sunrise.

兴趣

Over the last 6 months, I've really started getting into photography. I've never thought of myself as being artistic, but when I'm taking photos I feel like an artist. I also enjoy hiking, which for me goes hand in hand with photography. I love that every step is a change of scenery! I enjoy being out in the open air with mountains, forests, or water surrounding me! I enjoy learning and listening to people talk about things they're passionate about. I know how excited I get about the things that interest me, so it's fun to hear people get just as intense!

I love listening to music, especially when I'm on the road! I don't want to live in a world without Spotify!! I'm unsure of which genre my favorite bands would fall into, so I'll just name a few a artists who have permanent homes on my playlist. Mac Demarco, Tame Impala, The Lumineers, Hozier, Lapsley, Roo Panes, The Sea The Sea, Vance Joy, Johnnyswim, James Vincent McMorrow, Sohn, Wet, First Aid Kit, Renn, Kaleo, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford & Sons, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last summer, my good friend and I drove 10,000 miles over the course of a 2 week roadtrip and were able to visit 20 national parks in 8 states as well as a few parks in Canada. They were both life changing trips, which is why I'm back for more. This time solo!
