Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

The best experiences of travel we ever had were when we had the chance to be guests of friends or family. It gave us the opportunity of discovering cities / countries through the experience of people who live there, which is priceless ! But we can't all have relatives in every single place of the entire planet, and the usual travelling routine (hotel, visiting overcrowded monuments and museums, shopping at the galeries lafayettes) tends to be disappointing for many of us, so couchsurfing is a great initiative ! It is a great way to travel and a great way to meet new people, all in one.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Being lucky enough to live in city center, we get to consume high amounts of culture, borrowing dvds, books and music to the library and going to the cinema very often. We don't always read the same comics or listen to the same musics so it's a bit hard to sum up our tastes, but we tend to watch a lot of series together that we both love, such as Steven Universe, the West Wing, Freaks and Geeks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Parks and recreations, the IT crowd, Master of None, Over the Garden Wall, Au service de la France, 10 Pour cent, Gravity falls, Gilmore Girls, Future boy Conan... And so many others !

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

From times to times, like once a year, we have mice in our apartment (this is an old building), we bought a can of rat poison in case we someday become invaded, but we are very proud that we never had to use it ! We never had more than two mice at the same time, and we found out a way of catching them in a small cage, transfer them into a bigger cage (a domestic mouse cage) and release them into the woods, far away from city center. Of course, we guess that they're most likely to be eaten by an owl at some point, but at least we give them a chance ! They're just too tiny and too cute to be poisoned...
Also, Hannah doesn't really like cars and often praises herself for being able to move house using only a shopping trolley (and making many, many two way trips).
We're basically BADASSES.
