ABOUT ME

We like to live simply in this complex world that is around us. Being outside, biking, gardening, hiking, camping, running, walking, and laying in the hammock are all top on the list of things to do! We enjoy vegetarian meals, cooking from the garden and working in the studio. We have a young child, so we limit the number of guests we host. Surfers must be completely verified with references to be considered.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since we are a family willing to host couch surfers, for safety reasons, we only consider hosting those with references on the site and verified. Unverified surfers or at busier times for our family, travelers with camping gear are welcome to stay in our small rustic tree house or sleep in one of our hammocks, where some of our cross country cyclists guests from Warmshowers.org have stayed.

We are in the Youngstown area, as of the summer of 2012. We're not experts on the area but know of a handful of super places to hike, bike, walk, and eat, some in walking distance from our home! We've hosted a handful of people and look forward to hosting people in our area of the USA (Ohio). Public transportation is unfortunately still a challenge in most of the USA. But if you are in the area, come visit Poland or Youngstown, OH!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing? I'm not sure but I've traveled across the US for 3 months and swam in springs in the Yucatan. Most recently, we've been raising our young child and watching this little one come into this world and take it by storm!
